Welcome to Our Table: The Solstice Story

For over 20 years, Solstice Restaurant & Wine Bar has been a Mississauga gathering place

for great food, great wine, and even better company. This is our very first blog post, and we

couldn't think of a better way to start than by sharing who we are and what brought us here.

Three Brothers, One Kitchen

Solstice is a family affair. It's owned and run by three brothers — Chef John Paul, Vince, and

Andrew Angheloni — who grew up in their family's fine dining restaurant, learning the

business from the ground up. Chef John Paul trained in Italy under Michelin-level standards

before bringing that discipline and passion home, and together the brothers built Solstice

into what it is today: a restaurant rooted in tradition, but always evolving.

Italian Roots, Continental Flavours

Our menu blends classic Italian cooking with continental influences, giving guests a wide

range of dishes to explore. Whether you're craving something rich and comforting or

something lighter and elegant, there's a seat at our table for you. Pair it with a glass from

our wine list, or settle in at our beautiful bar for a cocktail and good conversation.
